Aaron T. "Bud" Halford, Jr., 62, was called into the presence of the Lord on Monday, October 24, 2016, at Baptist Medical Center in Jackson, MS. Mr. Halford was born at Meadville, MS, January 19, 1954, to Aaron T. "Bully" and Grace Helen Bonds Halford.
Visitation will be at Franklin Funeral Home in Meadville, MS on Tuesday, October 25, 2016, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and will continue at Providence Baptist Church on Wednesday, October 26, 2016, from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM. The graveside service will follow in the Providence Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Herman Aldridge will be officiating the services. Franklin Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Bud was a member of Providence Baptist Church. Bud completed school at Jones Memorial School in Monroe, MS. Bud enjoyed coloring pictures, putting jig saw puzzles together, eating good food, watching sports on TV, and spending time with his nieces and nephews. Bud was a loving son, brother, uncle, great uncle and friend.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Aaron T. "Bully" and Grace Helen Bonds Halford; brother, Larry L. "Skeeter" Halford; and brother-in-law, Walter Oakman.
Survivors are his sisters, Alma Halford Cochran of Pearl, MS, Martha Halford Oakman of Clinton, MS, and Debbie Halford Adams and husband Randy of Brookhaven, MS; brother, Johnny Halford of Terry, MS; sister-in-law, Debbie Bankston Halford of Meadville, MS; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
